A strike followed by rolls of 4 and 5 makes the strike frame worth 19. An ordinary frame of 4 and 5 is worth 9. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the controls nearby.
Where a round can go wrong
Bonus-dependent frames may not yet have a confirmed total. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
