Rules, controls and help for Scorpion Solitaire

Make Scorpion Solitaire your next activity in the game library. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.

An idea for your next attempt

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Refer to the controls when needed.

The challenge in front of you

Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Start with a deliberate move.

A walkthrough of the rules

  1. Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Getting comfortable with the controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

Work through an example

The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Consider the next action carefully.

Where a round can go wrong

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
