Bubble Shooter: what to know before playing

Take a moment with Bubble Shooter before moving to another game. Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Read the objective before making your first input. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Original hexagonal matching board and bouncing projectiles.

Something to practise

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Clear the hanging bubbles before they reach the lower boundary. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Check the rules when you are unsure.

How a round unfolds

  1. Aim and fire.
  2. Attach bubbles to the cluster.
  3. Groups of three or more equal colours disappear.
  4. Floating groups drop; five misses lower the ceiling.

Your inputs

Pointer/touch aim, angle controls and Fire. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.

Learn from a sample situation

Removing one support can drop a larger mixed-colour group below it. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Read the matching step again.

Check this before moving on

Contact with a different colour is not a match. Compare the situation with the worked example. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
